I cant seem to sleep thats why Im blogging at this hour. Usually, I'd be asleep by now. Its Friday, an important meeting for someone today. What a blessed day to schedule the meeting. May Allah ( swt ) help him and make it easy. Im excited too.
Hubby will try to make it for solat Jumaat at Masjid Abdul Razak today. The commitee have informed him that its the last solat Jumaat before the mosque close for renovations and will reopen in December this year. Insya'allah. May Allah ( swt ) make the construction smooth as I love that mosque and cant wait to be in the new version.

Habib Umar talked about Nafs. He said “ Siapa yang memandang dirinya dengan pandangan Redha, Allah ( swt ) akan pandang dirinya dengan pandangan murka. Dan Siapa yang tidak suka pada dirinya dan berkata (“ aku ini tidak bagus “) maka, Allah ( swt ) akan Redha dengan nya. "
Habib narrated a story about an ahli Ibadat who had a hajat. He asked for his hajat to be makbulkan but it has not been accepted for many years. He asked and asked, but his hajat did not get fulfilled. Finally, he scolded himself. “ I am no good, I am riak etc etc… “ Then Allah ( swt ) sent a wahyu through the nabi at the time and said “ Ketahuilah dia telah mencaci dirinnya sendiri itu lebih baik dari 60 tahun dia beribadah. Dan Aku akan sampaikan Hajatnya. “
Habib Umar was telling us to be humble and not be taken in by our Nafs by thinking that we are better than anybody else.
Innallàha wa malâikatahû yusallûna 'alan-nabiyy, yâ ayyuhalladhîna âmanû sallû alayhi wa sallimû taslîmâ. (Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.) 33:56
