AIF ! ...

Alhamdullilah.. yay !! its Friday and Im not working tomorrow....
Little Habib needs to go for MMR injection tomorrow and Baby Zainah, need to sunat. We'll bring both of them together, insya'allah.

I was Masjid Aleem Siddique last Sunday night to listen to the talk given by Shaykh Saad Bin Gawish, from University Al-Azhar.
The topic was " Perjalan Sirah Nabi Besar Nabi Muhammad (s.a.w )"

Sheikh Saad came across as a man full of Ilmu and a close follower of Ahli Sunnah Wal Jamaah, by the way he spoke about our prophet. He said, when we talk about orang-orang soleh between us, Allah befalls Rahmat to us. So what more if we talk about Rasullulah (s.a.w), more Rahmat will befall on us. Thats why Imam Ghazali, Imam Nawawi, spoke greatly on topics related to Rasullulah (s.a.w)

Syakh said that one of the features of umat Rasullulah (s.a.w) is that we love one another. There is a loving character amongst the ummah. He feels its a nikmat that he can fly from Egypt to meet us and that he loved all of us.

In his speech, which was translated in Bahasa, he reminded us to call our prophet with the title Saiyidinah. Its a mark of respect. The hadith about Rasullulah (s.a.w) telling us not to call him Saiyidinah is FAKE.
Rasullulah (s.a.w) said to us that he is the leader of the children of Adam (a.s) and leader means 'Sayyidi '.
In akhirat, all of us will agree and unite that Rasullulah (s.a.w) is our leader and on that day, every prophet will be quiet but Rasullulah (s.a.w) will speak and give us Syafaat.

One thing that touched close to my heart is when Syakh Saad spoke about Akhir Surah Albaqarah becuase, this is the ayat that I will read every morning after Subuh eversince I learnt how to recite the Holy Quran.

Akhir Suratul Albaqarah
This verse in the Holy Quran was sent speacially for our prophet Sayidinah Muhammad (s.a.w).
At the time this ayat was sent down to earth, Jibrail a.s. was accompanied by many many angels. Its a gift from Allah (swt) to us, Umat Rasullulah (s.a.w).

Syakh Saad Bin Gawish says even if we forget, Allah (swt) will not penalize us or punish us , because we recite this verses.

Therefore, lets amalkan this last 2 verses of Suratul Al Baqarah daily.

285 . The Messenger (Muhammad SAW) believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and (so do) the believers.
Each one believes in Allah, His Angels, His Books, and His Messengers. They say, "We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers" - and they say, "We hear, and we obey. (We seek) Your Forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the return (of all)."

286 Allah burdens not a person beyond his scope. He gets reward for that (good) which he has earned, and he is punished for that (evil) which he has earned.
"Our Lord! Punish us not if we forget or fall into error, our Lord!
( ALLAH REPLIES INSTANTLY : " No I will not punish you ")
Lay not on us a burden like that which You did lay on those before us;
( ALLAH REPLIES INSTANTLY : " No I will not sent burden to you")
Our Lord! Put not on us a burden greater than we have strength to bear. Pardon us and grant us Forgiveness.
(
ALLAH REPLIES INSTANTLY : " No I will not sent greater burden than you can bear to you and I will forgive you")
Have mercy on us. You are our Maula (Patron, Suppor-ter and Protector, etc.) and give us victory over the disbelieving people."

** Allah (swt replies straight away because HE is the one who sents down this ayat to us for us to ask him )

Innallàha wa malâikatahû yusallûna 'alan-nabiyy, ayyuhalladhîna âmanû sallû alayhi wa sallimû taslîmâ. (Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.) 33:56
