AIF !...

AIF ! Alhamdullilah its a Friday...

My in-laws came to visit us late yesterday night .
Little aunty Nurul wanted to see her nephew badly. Cant blame her, she hasn't seen Little Habib in 2 weeks.

At first, I was just tired and when hubby mentioned that his parents wants to come and visit, I looked at the watch and just kept quiet. I had laundry to do and thought that there just was'nt any time for me to do any entertaining and all I wanted to do was spend a quiet nite with my hubby and son.

When we reached home around 9pm, somehow, i just went about doing the laundry and even managed to clean the house abit and had my shower. Just as I sat down to play with little Habib, my in laws came.
What perfect timing, even though it was late, my heart reaction suddenly gave way to my brain thoughts and felt that there was no need to put on a sour face so I smile, greeted them and invited them in warmly.

This morning, it dawned on me that yesterday was malam Jumaat. If I had shown any unhappiness over their visit, Im sure Allah s.w.t would be very unhappy with me. That just goes to show that sometimes Allah test us when we are unaware and only our Iman can save us from failing the test. And see how nicely Allah sets the timing, I managed to complete my chores by the time they arrived.

This goes to show that In-laws are also as important as my own parents. In fact any visitor that comes to visit with good intentions brings with them blessings to the home.

And Little Habib had a good time dancing with his little aunty Nurul. Its the first time I saw him dancing... !

Tomorrow, Insya'Allah, I'll try and post some photos I took using my hp of Shaykh Hisham the other night at Masjid Aleem Siddique.

I love I love I love being around people who reminds me of Allah.... ! and Ramadhan's coming... yippie.. meaning Solat Sunat Terawih at Masjid Abdul Razak (insya'Allah).
You just have to try solat terawih over there. The atmosphere is just so different. So Tareem. It would have been better is Almarhum Ustaz Ahmad Semait was there still.

"Innallàha wa malâikatahû yusallûna 'alan-nabiyy, ayyuhalladhîna âmanû sallû alayhi wa sallimû taslîmâ.

Salaam Ummi

Love for All, hatred for none that's my prayer every day

Prophet Muhammad(SAW) said: Neither cause harm nor injure one another.

"A man said to the Prophet, 'Counsel me.' He said: 'Do not become angry.’ The man repeated the question several times, and the Prophet said each time 'Do not become angry.’” "Each person's every joint must perform charity every day the sun comes up. To act justly between two people is charity; to help a man with his mount is charity; lifting him onto it or hoisting up his belongings onto it is charity; a good word is charity; every step you take to prayers is charity; and removing a harmful thing from the road is charity."

"Let him who believes in God and the Last Day either speak good or keep silent, and let him who believes in God and the Last Day be generous to his neighbor, and let him who believes in God and the last day be generous to his guest."

'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr had one of his goats slaughtered for him, and then said to his servant boy, "Did you give a share of the goat meat to our neighbour, the Jewish man? I once heard the Prophet, upon him be peace, say, "Jibril, upon whom be peace, continued telling me (how important it is to do good toward one's) neighbours until I thought he was going to tell me that they have a share in one's inheritance aswell .

I love people who love Allah and our Rasulullah.

Always remember heaven is your mother's foot steps, people who illtreats their mother in law(MIL) is actually denying the chance of even your hubby going to heaven as well. I know that all (MIL's) are not sweet nothing, but fortunately we are blessed that we are muslims and we can forgive them.

Always beleive people who mistreat others are inferiour people in ALLAH'S eye. Who can save from them from their misfortune ha....

luv
Sorry i want to be anonymous

Salaams Anonymous..

I wld like to know u.

Thanks for the good advise. I will remember it everyday insyallah.

"do charity each day"...thats a gd reminder.

I agree with what u said that Mils r NOT sweet nothings.. and maybe I am always biased towards my own mother, but thankfully, I am a muslims and Islam teaches us to forgive everyone and not bear any hatred towards anyone so that always makes me try harder to be nice to in inlaws each time we meet.

Rasulullah (saw) said in a hadith, "Do not trouble yourself when you have guests, as this may cause you to hate having guests. Whoever dislikes guests, it is the same as he dislikes Allah, and whoever dislikes Allah, Allah will dislike him."

So, you are right. Isn't that very wise? It is true that if you tend to overdo it when entertaining guests - you get tired and it makes you not want to have guests. Simple is enough.

I used to really dislike having guests in the past, but I'm trying to change that.

Oh, and don't forget to ask them to make du'a for you, although I don't remember why you should.

salaams Ms Ihsan : ) v much a sweet lady.

I think its good to ask ppl to make dua' for u..it may seems desperate sometimes.. like me.. i always ask org org alim or my sahabats to dua for me.. but then again, during the prophet's time, many of the sahabats will ask dua from each other.. I heard its a good amal to dua for a friend.

Salaam ... I believe its got something to do about guests in the home means having rahmah in the home for as long as they are there.

I am sure if we look it up, might find some hadith on it inshaallah.
