Ramadhan 1430

Alhamdullilah, Ramadhan has arrived. Ahlan wa Sahlan.

It has been 4 days now. We have been having Iftar at my MIL's house. The food there is nice and comforting.

Alhamdullilah, mak came back from the hospital yesterday. Celebrating Ramadhan without her and without her preparing the food was just melancholic.
Alhamdullilah, now that she is back, I know, my sahur wont only be bread and porridge.

I haven't been able to go to the mosque for Solat Terawih this year. I guess my duties are now bounded to the 2 small kids and with patience, I hope to receive the same blessings that I would receive If i were to spend my nights at the mosque. I miss the atmosphere at Masjid Abdul Razak. They start later as after Isyak, the jemaah will read Ratib Alhaddad first. After 12 Rakaats, the jemaah stops to sing qashidah and then continue.

It hasn't been easy. During each Sahur, both my kids will wake up at the same time while hubby sleeps on.
Adik will cry loudly until she get her fix of BM.
Abang on the other hand, just wants me to lie on the bed with him.
Sometimes I ignore their cries just so I can finish eating...

Abang is doing just fine in school although I am having doubts if he is learning much. We have enrolled him for nursery class for 2010 despite the minor financial difficulty that we are facing. Insya'allah, we can make it.

At 3 years old, he is still very mischievous .....

Adik had a fever of 39.9 degrees on the 1st day of Ramadhan and became very weak, vomiting all her meals. I was so scared that I would lose her. Yar, it was that bad!!
The next day, a tooth popped out. Alhamdullilah she is well now.

Salaam sis,

Hmmm.. rupanya, Asyura nak besar demam tinggi sangat - dah tumbuh gigi pun. Kesian Umm nya risau tak tentu pasal. Alhamdulillah, glad to hear she is fine now.

JUST TO SHARE:

Sahur experience the same I faced last 2 years. What I did, as I eat my sahur, the lil one is breastfeeding. The elder one I got him to lie down on a lil mattress in front of me as I eat.

Wassalam

Salaams!

Ummu Mukhtaar:Sahur experience can be really stressful. Now I eat with Adik on my lap and Abang I just ignore..hee...He'll eventually go back to his bed.

Id:Salaams Ramadhan to you too..hope u and yr family r doing well too. My princess is down with fever again for 3 days straight. Dr B says it might be urine infection..scary...she's now on antibiotics.
As for Abang, yes he is absorbing and even if he is not learning much academically, I can see his social skills r better.

Norza:oh Sarah lum tumbuh gigi lagi..? well all babies are different..its just a matter of time. Haha...hectic u if both girls wake up at the same time. Nak makan pun tak senang.

Hajar: Salaams Sis..I havent been reading yr blog for some time...so sorry...Thanks for the lovely award though I really dont deserve it. I think I want to display it on my blog lah...so adorable! hehe..Hugggies.. : )

Salaam sis... I've been totally remiss on your blog!

I'm sorry to hear all that you've gone through in the past entries. Babe, such things will make you stronger and closer to Him. So, chin up and march on! *hugs hugs* (and I totally agree about Ustazah Muna - angel on earth!)

About potty training... it's the same with Nabil. We tried and he wetted his pants with a totally tak bersalah look on his face. Heh.
