Illaliqah and Ma'asalamah Ya Habib

Insya'allah when I have the time, I will post more notes on the lectures. I have written quite a few in my notebook, however, Its Sunday, and Im rushing to clean the house and to spend quality time with my little Habib.

Habib Umar Bin Hafiz and his rombongan has left for Batu Pahat to visit Habib Ali. May we get to see you here again next year Ya Habib. ( im afraid that I may get withdrawal syndrome now ... *sad * )

I was at Al-Wedha last night with dear Hubby for his final ceramah here. Lots of Arabs there and the usual crowd. I heard this morning Tazkirah Subuh at Masjid Abdul Razak by Habib Umar has been cancelled. ( I would also like to thank Ummu and Abah Mukhtaar for their help to me yesterday. Hilarious thing happen in the car on the way sending them back to Tampines ! It showed me that I am nothing but a weak human. Im sure Abu Mukhtaar will roll on the floor laughing when he remembers the "accellerator" story ! ) * faintz *

For those who managed to be with Habib Umar, see him personally, hear his qalams, I am indeed happy for you.

For those who wanted to go, but are not able to make it, Im sure Allah ( swt ) knows your intentions and you will be bless with something better. Insya'allah.

For those who cant be bothered to go, Hmm.. what will you tell Rasullah ( saw ) if he asked you, "when my family came to visit, did you greet them with all respect ?"

In the Tazkirah Subuh @ Masjid Abdul Razak on the 7 Feb, Habib Umar spoke on the power of Ratib.

He said,

One day, there was a man sitting in the mosque with Imam Abdullah Alhadad. He read the ratib Alhadad and began wondering to himself , " i read the ratib daily but what do i get ? "..Soon after he fell asleep in the mosque and he dreamt that he died.

Malaikat Mungkar and Nangkir came to him fiercely and he was so nervous. Then he saw Imam Abdullah Alhadad coming to him and telling Malaikat Mungkar and Nangkir " leave this man alone, he is one of my men ". And the malaikat left him alone.

When the man woke up, the jemaah had finished with the ratib and were queing up to salam Imam Abdullah Alhadad.

When it was the man's turn, Imam Abdullah Alhadad gripped his hands and said " what you saw in the dream was true. It was me in your dreams. It not syaitan "....

So Habib Umar said that reading the Ratib brings alot of blessings in our lives and sometimes we dont see it but it will one day help us. Thats the Power of ratib.

He also said the best of amalan is to Istigqamah. Even if you do some small amalan, it is the best if it is istigqamah.
