Its been 4 days since I turned 27 ! Time passes by so fast. My friend smsed me "forever 21 yeah !" But somehow, I dont feel "forever 21!" Entahlah, feels old and lacking behind....
Lagi Lagi, Im only a mother of 1. When my mum was 27, she was already a mother of 2.
But things are not too bad. I know Allah (swt) has good plans for me and Im always thankful.
Just as no one can determine the number of kids they have, one can also NOT stop the ageing process. Not even BOTOX. Age will forever increase. So instead of feeling sicky and yucky about getting old, Ive decided that the best way is to age gracefully. Accept it as time goes by and make sure my wisedom, Iman and faith gets stronger each passing year.
It really felt like my best birthday in all 27 years. Hmm could it be the spa voucher, could be the lace material that my mum got me, could be the good meal and gathering at Swensons, ..... My bet is , it must be the visit and tour to Ba'alwie during waktu Dhuha.
Since we have a car this year, going to Ba'alwie Mosque was no hassel. Weather was right, no crowd , just that Little Habib did not make it as he had trouble finishing his breakfast and was feeling groggy that morning.
So it was only me, my hubster and little Nurul touring Masjid Ba'alwie on our own after performing Solat Sunat Dhuha.
Thats the chandelier at the men's section. Hubby performed his Solat Dhuha and Solat Tahyattul Masjid undeneath it. May Allah (swt) cleanse his wrongdoings and bless him with much Rezeki, Iman and Happiness.
Originally, in the middle of Masjid Ba'Alwie is a well - Perigi. The well is now replace by a chandelier hanging on top of the spot to mark it.
Habib Muhammad bin Salim Al-Attas once dreamt a man saying azan beside the well facing the kiblat. Hearing the azan, he approach the man and says " who are you ?" and the man said " Im your grandfather" ... Habib Muhammad then realised its Rasullulah (saw).
( taken from the book "Umar bin Abdul Rahman Al-Attas" part 2 written by Habib Syed Hassan Bin Muhammad Al-Attas. )
Me drinking the air perigi direct from it for the first time in my life ! Tasted yummy. Of cos, I doa for good health and for it to clean my "dirty" heart. Insya'allah.
Hubby and Little Nurul .... May they attain much goodness from the water that is said to have been very blessed. For the sick, for the babies who cant sleep at night, for students who have difficulty with their studies... Insya'allah.. Yakin !
After Ba'alwie, I took a trip with my mum and sis where we had fun shopping for material. Mummyu bought me a black lace and purple lining to make into a dinner dress.
Then I rushed home to pick up the little fella and meet my inlaws and the Uchu's for a hearty meal at Swensons @ terminal 2. I specifically told them NO birthday song, but seems that little Nurul had planned for everyone to sing for me. The staff came, gave me complimentary ice-cream and they all started singing !! Oouu Malunyer... but I had to be sporting and just smiled like malu-malu kuching.. haha...
After some photo taking at Terminal 2, I rushed home again for Magrib, then we went to Masjid Kassim for Isyak prayers.
As I reached home, all tired and ready to sleep in my PJs, feeling all thankful that the day was so chirpy and sweet, Allah (swt) sent me another gift. My cousin Tanti came with her family to pass me a .......
Wayan Balinese Spa Voucher !!
90 mins of Rose petal massage, scrub, hotstone facial etc....
I am soooo thankful. She didnt have to....Eh macam Jakun gitu. Of cos lah Jakun, do you know that Ive never been in a Spa before ? Ive always admired them from a far, but never went into one.
And My cousin said, "you deserved it"... gosh, I totally melt.
"Dear Hubby ... hint hint... maybe next time, when you dont know what to get me for my birthday or for anniversary, hmm THIS would be nice ??? (hahhhha... )"
Its the start of another year..... May Allah(swt) bless all my love ones with much Rizk and Iman... : )
