AIF...

This book was a gift from a friend. Written by Dr Aidh Al-Qarni. Some readers would know who this writer is. I shall not mention it here. Who ever he is, i feel that he is a great motivator. He also wrote the book ''La Tahzan'' meaning ''Dont be Sad''.

Excerpts from the Book : ''MENJADI WANITA PALING BAHAGIA''

'' Be careful of NON Thankful behaviour.

Before you see the torns in the roses, look at the beauty of the flower.

Before you get irritated by the heat of the sun, look at the importance of sunlight.

Before you regret at the darkness night brings, remember the shade and its calmness.

So why must we be pessimistic ? Why must we change the intentions of the creator ?

''Didn't you see the people that change the blessings of Allah with Sins and wrongdoings ?'' ( surah Ibrahim : 28 )

One of the factors of happiness is to understand Islamic Syariah'. Belajar agama dapat menyinari hati dan membuat Allah (swt) menjadi redha sebagaimana sabda Rasulullah (saw) : ''JIKA ALLAH MENGHENDAKI SEORANG HAMBA MENJADI BAIK, MAKA ALLAH AKAN MENJADIKANNYA MENGERTI TENGTANG AGAMA''.

Read up on kitab kitab like Riyadh as-shalihin, Fiqh as-Sunnah, Fiqh as-Dalil, Ilya Ul-Mid deen and Kitab Kitab Tafsir thats easy to understand. Know that the best of Amal is that you understand whats ask of you by Allah (swt) in the kitabs and know whats said by Rasullulah and his sunnah.

Read up the Quran and learn it with your peers. Memorise the ayats that's easy to memorise. Listen to the Al-Quran and its reminders. Not knowing Syariah laws will cause darkness in the heart and confusion.

Build a library in your home no matter how little the books are but benefiting. Be careful that you do not waste your time with things that strays your mind. Every second of your life is recorded therefore use it for the blessings of Allah (swt). ''

Innallàha wa malâikatahû yusallûna 'alan-nabiyy, ayyuhalladhîna âmanû sallû alayhi wa sallimû taslîmâ. (Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect.) 33:56

Salaam Ummi ;)

I'm finally here! Apasal lah you kata your blog tak informative? Very informative, what? You're spreading words of wisdom.

About the previous post with regards to censoring what children watch, I think it's a good thing, especially when it's enforced at a cognitive age i.e. 1 year and above. Sometimes when some people at the other home turn on inappropriate shows on TV, I would take baby Nabil and leave the room. Or I would say half-jokingly "Asyik tengok gelek2 jer, camna nak jadi hafiz?" before I leave.

Takkan nak suruh tutup TV, kan? Not my house, what? ;p

Anyway, the simplest guidelin in whatever you do is, doing it for His sake.
